About the company
The company Microset was founded in 1993 in Brno. As the first company in the Czech republic, Microset developed and produced intelligent elevator control systems. After 4 years of successful sales, the licence to this system has been sold to the Swiss concern Schindler. Since 1997 the company has been involved in development of the new intelligent system of light switching – the system NiSSOT, in cooperation with the VUT Brno (Technical University of Brno).
The company Microset, s.r.o. is based in Brno, the city where the invention of the light bulb by Thomas Alva Edison was put into practice for the first time in Europe to light the theatre. This light bulb has been lit virtually the same way for over 100 years. And it is from Brno again that the company Microset now offers a revolutionary light-switching solution for the next millennium – the system NiSSOT = New intelligent System of Switching the lights on-off by Original Touch. The invention of the NiSSOT system brings an extraordinary solution to the trivial act of switching the lights on and off. We can say that 99 % of entrances to a room is realized by grasping and pressing the door handle. The new NiSSOT system situated by the door handle greatly simplifies the information where to switch the lights on-off. No more searching and wandering in the dark – just lightly touch the NiSSOT switch situated right under the door handle from the outer side of the door of the room to which you are entering, and the light in this room is switched on wirelessly.
